Terms of Use

By using Dearly you agree to these terms. Dearly lets callers buy coins and talk to listeners by voice, billed by the second.

1. Who can use Dearly. You must be 18 or older, whether you call or listen. You must give a phone number that is yours. One account per person.

2. Coins and payment. Callers buy coins through Razorpay. Calls cost 3 coins per second (180 coins per minute). Coins never expire. Coins are not refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash: once bought, use them on calls until they run out. A call is charged for the seconds you are connected, including time while either side is muted. If a call drops because of a technical fault on our side, write to us within 7 days and we will return the coins for the lost part of that call.

3. Calls. Dearly connects you to the listener you choose. The listener may end a call at any time. Calls are not recorded. Do not record calls yourself without the other person's consent.

4. Listeners. Listeners are independent users paid by the hour of talk time at the rate shown in their app. Earnings are paid out as described in the app. Listeners must be online only when they can actually take calls, must not ask callers for money, contact details or payments outside Dearly, and must not pretend to be a professional (doctor, lawyer, counsellor) they are not.

5. Conduct. Do not use Dearly to harass, threaten, abuse or deceive anyone, to share sexual content, or for anything illegal. Do not share your own or ask for another person's phone number, address or bank details during a call. Use the Report button for any problem.

6. Not an emergency or medical service. Dearly is for conversation. It is not therapy, medical advice or an emergency line. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact local emergency services.

7. Suspension and termination. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with or without notice. Unused coins in an account closed for breaking these terms are forfeited. You can delete your account at any time from Profile.

8. Our responsibility. We provide Dearly as it is. We do our best to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available or that every call will connect. We are not responsible for what users say to each other on calls. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. We will show the new version in the app, and continued use means you accept it.

10. Law and contact. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Kerala. Questions: oryzenproductions@gmail.com.
